KISS Deemed to be University organized a series of Soft Skills Training for Peer Group Students, in order to infuse professional skills in the students. Dr. Vedula Ramalaksmi, Associate Professor, Kamala Nehru Women’s College, Bhubaneswar was invited as the resource person for conducting the one month session from October to November 2019. The first session commenced on 16th October 2019. Addressing the students, she said underscored the significance of soft skills and how it is important to work on oneself in order to survive the cut throat competition. Self confidence, pleasant personality, general knowledge and command on the language are the essential components, she said. The event was attended by the peer group students of KISS-DU and the inaugural session was graced bythe senior functionaires of the university.
These sessions were organized under the Mother Tongue Based Multilingual Education Programme, an ongoing project of the university and was coordinated by Dr. Sushri Sangita Mohanty.
