One day Orange Day program was observed in the Multipurpose dining hall of KISS in collaboration with Glaxo SmithKline Pharmaceuticals Limited (GSK), New Delhi, on 24th August 2019 with 500 girls of KISS and KISS Deemed to be University.
The colleagues of GSK is an opportunity to volunteer to promote education and health in communities through our signature volunteering program – Orange Day.
The program aims to provide WASH education focusing on menstrual hygiene to spread awareness among students. The following activities were conducted for the said purpose:
- Wash instruction for the students
- Menstrual hygiene education and sanitary pad distribution for 500 girl children
- Information on a balanced diet
- Educational sessions through engaging activities and competitions, with prizes
