Chemistry programme, School of Indigenous Knowledge Science and Technology (IKST), Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Deemed to be University organized a debate competition on the eve of National Technology Day on 11th May 2023. Dr. Tanushree Das, Asst. Prof, member IIC (Innovation cell) highlighted the objective behind the celebration of National Technology Day. She explores the multifaceted role of technology in modern life and how it has impacted our society. In the debate competition how technology has dramatically transformed the way of communication, improving healthcare services, empowering education, and technological advancement in various industries, artificial intelligence has been discussed. In the competition, Bikram Biruli, Ph.D scholar Computer Science, won the 1st position, and Rodana Bhoi PG-I Chemistry got the 2nd position. The session concluded with an active round of discussion, and a formal vote of thanks was offered by Dr. Bikram Keshari Das, HOD, Chemistry Programme, School of IKST, KISS-DU.
