The NSS Wing of KISS Deemed to be University observes Vigilance Awareness. This week-long awareness programme involves a campaign for sustaining and promoting transparency together with integrity in the life of the public, with the participation of the citizens. The theme of Vigilance Awareness Week 2021 is “Independent India at 75: Self-reliance with Integrity”. This particular theme was proposed by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) to celebrate 75 years of the Independence of India. It envisages a new age of self-reliant India by securing integrity and togetherness in the lives of the public.
The NSS Wing of KISS-DU participated in the nationwide observance by organizing awareness and sensitization programmes on preventive vigilance measures. About fifty volunteers contributed by organizing small-scale awareness programmes in their native places. A virtual Elocution Competition on the topic “Corruption Free India” was also scheduled to mark the occasion.
The event was attended by senior functionaries, faculty members and students of KISS-DU.
