KISS – DU organized a stimulating ‘Intellectual Discourse on the discourse on the tribal culture of Assam and Odisha’ on 3rd September 2020. The webinar stressed the comparative aspect of the study and aimed at the inclusion of similarities and differences between the tribal culture of Assam and Odisha with a focus on lifestyles, traditions, customs, and languages. Dr. Jyostna K. Biswal Rout, Director, Center for Language and Cultural Studies, Gauhati University, Assam, Dr. Naku Hansdah, Coordinator and Assistant Professor, P.G Department of Odia, Sambalpur University shared their views on the topic.
