The School of Tribal Resource Management, (Geography Programme), KISS-DU organized an interaction meeting with the Department of Geography, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi on 22nd November 2022. KISS-DU welcomed the 85 students and 5 faculty members team from BHU with the opportunity of exploring the KISS-DU campus and exposure visit.
In his Welcome Address, Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor talked about the importance and relevance of conducting this interaction meeting programme and presenting an opportunity to learn about the rich culture and heritage of the indigenous people. Professor Sarfaraz Alam, Professor, Department of Geography, BHU addressed the students and expressed interest to work collaboratively in the days to come. Professor N K Rana, Professor, BHU and Dr Arpana Premi Lina Oraon , Associate Professor, KISS DU also addressed the gathering.
