The objective of this Idea-o-Thon is to encourage participants to explore and develop groundbreaking ideas that can contribute to the advancement of agriculture, health, food sustainability, AI technology, and fintech. Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Deemed to be University (KISS-DU) organized an Idea-o-Thon on 16th October 2023, focusing on the themes of agriculture, health, food sustainability, AI, and fintech. The event aimed to encourage innovative thinking and solution-driven approaches to address the pressing challenges in these critical sectors. A total of 57 students and 10 faculties actively participated in the Idea-o-Thon. The participants showcased their creativity, knowledge, and enthusiasm in developing innovative ideas and solutions.The Idea-o-Thon was an exciting platform for students and faculties to pitch their ideas and collaborate on innovative solutions. The event was structured around presentations, discussions, and interactive sessions focused on the key sub-themes of the event.The highlight of the event was the recognition and awarding of the best ideas pitched by the students. The award ceremony was filled with excitement and surprise as students were acknowledged for their outstanding contributions.Several students were awarded exciting surprise awards based on the uniqueness, feasibility, and potential impact of their ideas.
