Kalinga Institute Of Social Sciences (KISS) always gives importance to quality education and healthy lifestyle along with balanced diet to its students. Students of KISS are provided nutritious food. A Bakery and Curd making unit were inaugurated at KISS campus. Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT and KISS inaugurated these two units on the eve of Ganesh Chathurthi on Friday.

The bakery unit shall manufacture nutritionally balanced bakery products using indigenous flour like millets. It aims at addressing malnutrition problem through such bakery products. The curd unit shall manufacture probiotic yogurt for children. At KISS, healthy lifestyle is first priority as healthy students study better.
