said Honorable Chief Minister of Odisha Sri Naveen Patnaik after inaugurating the new Campus of KISS University today.
Addressing to the mammoth assemblage of the students at KISS premises, the Chief Minister stated that, KISS will glorify the name of Bhubaneswar. He advised the students to help the children who are unable to get basic education. He also urged the students to work for the development of their villages. Education is the real game changer and for this the Government of Odisha has established around 5000 hostels for the tribal students, where 5 lakhs tribal students are pursuing their studies , added the Chief Minister.
At the outset, the Founder of KIIT & KISS Prof. Achyuta Samanta affirmed that all the developments for the cause of tribal communities in our state have been done during the tenure of Sri Naveen Patanaik’s Government. In fact, Odisha has been transformed itself into a happening state from a non-happening state during his period. It is only due to his support and cooperation, KISS has become what it is today.
Smt. Saswati Bal, President, KIIT & KISS delivered the Presidential Address and Shri. R. N. Dash offered Vote of Thanks. The students of KISS offered a standing ovation to the Hon’ble CM for achieving the best Administrator Award nominated by the Outlook Magazine.
