A Street Play and Essay Competition was organized by the AURORA Club of KISS-DU on the theme “Empowering Local Communities in Humanitarian Responses” on 19th August 2023.
The students showed an overwhelming response. They projected how empowering local communities creates collaboration between humanitarian organizations and local communities. The central part of the street play was related to the benefits of partnership approach can result in more sustainable efforts. The students who had participated in essay competition covered the outcomes of such partnerships as well. They wrote how empowering local communities infuses greater humanitarian relief.
