The members of the AURORA Club conducted a Group Discussion on the International Day of Democracy on the theme “Education for Democratic Citizenship and Participatory Citizenship” on 19th September 2023.
In a stimulating group discussion between the students of the AURORA Club, various perspectives came to the limelight. Some of them included:
- Democratic Citizenship – focus on democratic rights and responsibilities, active participation in the context of civic, political, social, economic, legal, and cultural spheres of society.
- Participatory Citizenship – participation in decision-making, voting, and ensuring a balanced distribution of resources.
The session was moderated by the students and attended by the members of the AURORA Club.
