Prateek Som is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration as a Mason fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where he received the Edward & Schiffman scholarship. Prior to his enrollment at the Kennedy School, he held dual roles in India. He served as the Standing Counsel in the Supreme Court of India and also as the National Spokesperson for JJP, a political party within the ruling coalition of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by Prime Minister Modi. His areas of expertise encompass White Collar crimes, financial crimes, Data Protection, Cybersecurity, real estate sector litigation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. For the past eight years, he has actively engaged in speaking and writing on legal, political, and social issues in national media outlets, including India Today, CNN News 18, Times Now. In recognition of his work, he was included in the “India’s 100 under 40” by Fox Story in 2022.
