Keeping in view the importance of skills for youth, the KISS-DU AURORA Club organized a Workshop on World Youth Skills Day on 15th July 2023. The theme of the workshop was “Entrepreneurship Education among the tribal youth”. The faculty members addressed the students about the benefits of possessing necessary skills inclusive of both hard skills and soft skills. Connecting with the theme, the faculty members further explained that start-ups and building enterprises is what India needs right now. The objective of the workshop was to provide students with the knowledge, skills and motivation to encourage entrepreneurial success. They also briefed about the significance of entrepreneurship for tribal youth and how the students can become change agents for their communities.
The students of the club also spoke and shared their opinions. They said that possessing skills will help them in identifying the right kind of platform and give them the exposure they need. This indeed will help them in honing their personal, social and professional skills. This Workshop was also attended by the team members of the Centre for Indigenous Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
