The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of KISS, Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Organized a Workshop On “Innovation/Prototype Validation- Converting Innovation into Startup” On 22nd June 2023. Dr. Gouri Shankar Beriha, Assistant Professor, School of Tribal Resource Management, KISS Deemed to be University, was invited as a resource person for the event. By addressing thirty-five postgraduate students, Dr Beriha explained the innovation cycle & product development phases, starting from ideation to proof of concept (PoC) to prototype development in various technologies readiness levels & ultimately maturing it into a product for startup. The students were encouraged & motivated to establish startups by discussing real examples. The interactive and exciting workshop was well appreciated by students and faculty members.
