The KISS-DU AURORA Club organized a student seminar on International Plastic Bag Free Day on 3rd July 2023. The theme chosen for the seminar was “Plastic Waste Management: Issues and Solutions.”
The students presented the central theme of the topic and focused on SDG – 4, SDG – 6, SDG – 11, and SDG – 12 of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. During the presentations, they highlighted the ill-impact of plastic bags on the environment and highlighted some of the work done by the university in addressing SDGs both directly and indirectly, as one of the best. practices adopted by the university. The students expressed their concerns towards protecting and preserving the environment and stressed the role of youth in creating a better future for the coming generations.
