The Department of Psychology, School of Tribal Heritage and Tribal Indology (STHTI), KISS Deemed to be University, in collaboration with Maharishi European Research University, Switzerland, organized a Special Lecture on “Mental Well-Being for All: Nurturing Mind, Strengthening Community” on 11th September 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Auditorium, Campus-4.
The programme began with a Welcome Address by Dr. Ananya Das, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, STHTI. Dr. Sujata Acharya, Dean, STHTI, introduced the resource person, Mr. Digvijay Singh, Director, Maharishi Institute of Vedic Sciences and World Peace Council (MIVSWPC).
Mr. Singh delivered an insightful lecture highlighting the importance of mental well-being, stress management, positive thinking, self-awareness, inner harmony, and emotional balance in everyday life. He emphasized the significance of developing a healthy mind, cultivating positive attitudes, strengthening social relationships, and building supportive communities for promoting holistic well-being. The session also encouraged participants to adopt practical and positive approaches towards maintaining mental health and achieving a balanced life. The interactive session provided valuable insights and encouraged active participation among the attendees.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Arpita Sarangi, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, STHTI.
