To build leadership at KISS and encourage our students to ;pursue higher studies or professional engagements, we prepare students for Indian Civil Services, Indian Engineering Services and Judicial Services. The School has the necessary academic scaffolding to provide comprehensive training program for these prestigious examinations. Apart from long term training programme for these competitive examinations, we also provide Competitive Preparation for CAT, MAT, GATE, GMAT, IBPS, and SSC Examinations etc. Under the Competitive Preparation Centre (CPC) Wing, the following actions are taken to enhance the skill of the students.
Employment News and Special Articles on Employment are purchased from the market and CPC committee maintains the database of the jobs advertised and circulate the same among the competent students.
The committee on CPC helps the students to apply for various jobs at the state and national level.
The committee on CPC also identifies different subject oriented topics and invite experts/resource persons to train the students.
As and when needed the Committee on CPC takes the help of the HoDs of different subjects to finalise the action plan for different govt. as well as corporate jobs.
The Committee on CPC sits on weekly basis and review the progress of the Special Coaching Classes as well as the CPC regarding the works done to meet the requirement.
The Committee on CPC also designs the syllabi for various examinations and they modify/update the syllabus as and when needed in order to ensure that the students get appropriate training on the modules.
The Committee on CPC devises the academic coaching time table and according to the same, the training/special coaching shall be imparted.
In order to ensure placement and employment to all students
ostgraduation,coaching classes are organized by the CPC for all UG and PG students at the High Education Campus. At these classes, special emphasis is placed on preparing students for competitive examinations, conducted by recruitment boards in varied fields, including but not limited to Banking, Railways, and Police Service. We also prepare students for examinations by the Staff Selection Commission, Subordinate Selection Commission, Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), Union Public service Commissions (UPSC) etc.
