The School of Tribal Resource Management (STRM) organized an Exposure Visit for PG students of Geography, Economics and Commerce Programmes, KISS-DU to Regional Museum of Natural History (RMNH), Bhubaneswar on 12th December 2023.

The purpose of this visit was to gain insights into practical knowledge and create awareness about nature, environment and wildlife. Mr. Rajkishor Swain, Junior Scientist shed light on Biodiversity, Animal Kingdom, Plant Kingdom, Asia’s Largest Bird, Elephant, Giant Baleen Whale Skeleton, Shankar Elephant and different landforms of Odisha. Dr. Debi, Scientist In charge, addressed the students on present condition of Biodiversity and Climate Change in the world and how to control the effects of climate change.

The students were accompanied by the faculty members of the School of Tribal Resource Management – Dr. Arpana Premi Lina Oraon, Associate Professor (Geography), Dr. Sanjeeta Devi, Assistant Professor (Economics) and Dr. Binita Nanda, Assistant Professor (Commerce).
