KISS DU has instituted Eight Research Chairs after the name of Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das, Utkal-Mani Gopabandhu Das, Santha Kabi Bhima Bhoi, Prabada Purusha Biju Pattanaik, B.R. Ambedkar, Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Saheed Laxman Nayak and Pandit Raghunath Murmu to have an in-depth study and research on life and works of the great personalities of Odisha and prominent tribal leaders. Though there was the proposal to establish such chairs earlier; they came in to force w.e.f. August 2019.
Research Chairs are designated in the name of illustrious persons and persons of eminence in the areas/fields of their contribution.
