A workshop on “Structuring Research Paper: Key Takeaways” was successfully organized on 31st March 2026 by the Department of Commerce, School of Tribal Resource Management (STRM), Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, for Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students. The session was delivered by Dr. Biswajit Prasad Chhatoi, Assistant Professor-III, P.G. Department of Business Administration, Berhampur University.
The workshop began with a Welcome Address by Dr. Snigdharani Panda, Director IQAC ND Chairperson, Council of Deans, who motivated the students to actively engage in research and enhance their academic writing skills. During the session, Dr. Chhatoi provided a detailed and insightful explanation of the key components of a research paper, including introduction, review of literature, methodology, results and discussion, and conclusion, while emphasizing clarity, coherence, and academic rigor in research writing. The session was highly interactive, with enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members, making it an engaging learning experience.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Parikshita Khatua, Head of the Department of Commerce, who expressed sincere gratitude to the resource person and all participants for their valuable contributions, making the session informative and impactful. The entire programme was efficiently organized by Dr. Ch. Sudipta Kishor Nanda, and moderated by Dr. Anita Pareek, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, STRM.
