Prof Pati is well-known for his pioneering research in Human Chronobiology and his outstanding contribution to the scientific knowledge of Animal Behavior.
He has been Council Member of the World Federation of Societies of Chronobiology, Japan, and the International Society of Subterranean Biology, Paris [2004-2012].
He has to his credit a bright track record of academic leadership.
Prof Siba Prasad Adhikary

He taught Biotechnology as a Professor at Utkal University and Visva Bharati, Santiniketan.
Prof. Adhikari’s research on BGA biofertilizer and organic fertilizers from algae including the extension of technology in rural areas has been lauded in India and abroad.
He was conferred with Samanta Chandra Sekhar Award in Life Sciences by Orissa Bigyan Academy Govt. of Odisha, 1999; UGC Research Award, 1999; Lifetime achievement Award in Phycology by Krishnamurthy Institute of Algology, Chennai, 2012; Prof. Harihar Pattanaik Memorial Award in Environmental Sciences by Orissa Botanical Society, 2012; Dr B.P. Pal National Environmental Fellowship Award for Biodiversity, 2012 by Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Govt. of India, and also young Scientist Award of Indian Botanical Society in 1983. Served as the President of Orissa Botanical Society (2016-17) and President of Probir Chatterjee Research Foundation, West Bengal (2010-2018).
Prof. Kamal K. Misra

He was Professor of Anthropology and Dean, School of Social Sciences at the Central University of Hyderabad.
Prof Mishra was Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship in the UK, Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence in the USA, Research Associate at the University of Bergen, Norway.
For his academic distinction, Prof Mishra was the recipient of the Sarat Chandra Roy Memorial Medal by the Asiatic Society, Kolkata.
He assumed many prestigious positions, namely that of Director of National Museum of Mankind, Bhopal, and also the Director, Anthropological Survey of India, Kolkata.
He was appointed member of the High-Level Committee to prepare a status report on the Scheduled Tribes of India. He had represented Govt. of India at World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva, several times.

He combines the scholarship of academic and administrative acumen of a bureaucrat, for he was a professor as well as an IAS officer.
He has also wide experience of working with UNWFP, UNICEF, the World Bank and UNDP as an Anthropologist and as a Resettlement and Rehabilitation Expert.
Prof. Padmaja Mishra

She was a renowned Professor of Economics, Dean of Social Sciences and Director of Women Studies Centre at Utkal University.
Scholar and researcher of outstanding stature in the areas of Public Economics and Development Economics, Prof Mishra was a Commonwealth Scholar University of East Anglia, World Bank-India Fellow at University of Maryland and South Asian Research Fellow of Social Science Research Council, New York.
She has been invited as visiting Professor to Calcutta University, Andhra University, JNU and TERI University, New Delhi.
Prof. Gopal Krishna Panda

Prof Panda has been the UGC Professor Emeritus and Senior Fellow, ICSSR.
He was also Visiting Fellow of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine of Liverpool University on the British Council Fellowship and visiting faculty to Minnesota State University.
He has won many prestigious prizes and received many honours for outstanding research in the field of environment.
He has worked for many national and international agencies like WHO, UNDP, DFID and public sector organisations like Odisha State Pollution Control Board and Odisha State Disaster Management Authority.
He has done noteworthy research and consultancy for Population Research Center, National Health Mission and population Survey the governments of Odisha and India.
Prof. N. Nagaraju

He has had a notable career as a Professor of English at Rajiv Gandhi Central University, Adi Kavi Nannaya University and the Central University of Karnataka, with vast research experience in American Literary Studies, Native American Literature, Cultural Studies of Tribal Literature and Ecology of North East India, and Arunachal Pradesh in particular.

Prof. Aparajita Chowdhury

She was a Professor of Home Science, Berhampur University, Odisha.
She had won the prestigious Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship at the University of London.
She was a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Wyoming, ICSSR - NWO Social Science Scholar at the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands, and DAAD (German Academic Exchange Program) Visiting Professor at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
She is the first PhD holder in Odisha. Prof Chowdhury was a member of the Juvenile Justice Board, Ganjam district and is now an assessor of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
Prof. Jatindra Kumar Nayak

Former Professor, Utkal University. Educated at Ravenshaw College and Merton College, Oxford.
Prof Nayak had a brilliant teaching career. His pre-eminence as a translator has been recognized worldwide.
His English translations of classic Odia novels have been published by the University of California Press, Oxford University Press and Penguin books.
He received the KATHA Translation Award and the Hutch-Crossword Book Award in 2004.
He was Visiting Professor at the Department of English Jadavpur University, and the department of English at, the University of Delhi.
A volume titled Critical Discourse in Odia, which he has co-edited will be published by Routledge in November this year.
He was a member of the Tagore Commemoration Committee, Department of Culture, Government of India and Member, Raja Ram Mohun Ray Library Foundation, Government of India in 2013-2016. At present, he is a member of, the English Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi.
In November 2017, he visited Israel as a member of a delegation of Indian writers. He edits margASIA, a journal devoted to showcasing Asian literature and culture. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Sahitya, an online journal, brought out by the Comparative Literature Association of India.
Prof. Ranjan Bal

Prof Bal has been a prominent alumnus of Ravenshaw College, Utkal University and IIM-Ahmedabad.
He has, to his credit, authorship of 7 books and over 83 articles.
Prof Bal has won the distinction of being the President of the Indian Accounting Association, Member for Formulation of Higher Education Policy of Government of Odisha, NAAC Peer Team and various other such bodies.
He has undertaken academic development projects for economically backward and autistic students. He has also received many awards, including IAA Research Foundation, Kolkata, and has been honoured as the ‘Most Inspiring Personality in Interview Times, 2017.
Prof. Nirmal Chandra Dash
