The Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Deemed to be University and National Tribal Research Institute jointly organized a workshop on Empowering Tribal Youths with New Age Skills on 29th July 2024. The Welcome Address was delivered by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Professor Deepak Kumar Behera spoke on the importance of new age skills especially for indigenous youth. Following the Welcome Address, the resource person Ms. Sonali Pattnaik, Director, Arupa Foundation, Bhubaneswar had conducted an interactive session with the students and emphasized on the dire need for specific skills which will contribute to their growth and development.

The interactive session was followed by a question and answer session and vote of thanks which was proposed by Dr. Pragyan Mohanty, Dean, Tribal Legal Studies and Tribal Rights, KISS-DU.
