The Critical Learning Club (CL Club), founded by Ms. Fatou Sow, Learning and Development Coach and Social Entrepreneur, organized a ten-day training program at KISS Deemed to be University from 15th to 25th August 2025. Ms. Sow, who holds a B.Sc. in Social Sciences from the Netherlands and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Strategy and Sustainability in the UK, led the initiative with the aim of fostering critical thinking, leadership development, and resilience training among students and young professionals.
The training program created a collaborative space where participants were encouraged to reflect, question, and develop skills essential for future leadership in academic, social, and professional spheres. With interactive sessions, group activities, and discussions, the program emphasized the importance of critical learning as a tool for empowerment and sustainable growth. The Valedictory Ceremony was held on 25th August 2025, where certificates were distributed to the participants by Professor Debashis Bandyopadhayay, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, KISS-DU.
During the ceremony, the presence of distinguished committee members of the CL Club added significance to the event. Among those who graced the dais were Dr. Sujata Acharya, NEP SAARTHI and CL Club Coordinator. The committee members present were, Ms. Nizni Hans, Mr. Kadey Soren, Dr. Disha Bhatt, Mr. Atul Nag, and Mr. Sabyasachi Rout, who have been instrumental in shaping the vision and execution of the club’s activities.
The successful completion of the training marks an important step toward building a community of critical learners at KISS-DU. The initiative not only strengthens academic and professional capacities but also contributes to nurturing socially responsible, resilient, and future-ready leaders.
