Sanjay Kumar Purty, hails from a very humble background, belonging to Ramasahi village in Mayurbhanj District, Odisha. His father, Mr. Selai Purty, is a farmer, and my late mother, Mrs. Rukmani Purty, was a housewife. Coming from such a background, the opportunity to pursue my education at KISS Deemed to be University was nothing short of a blessing, as without teh support of KISS, I could not have dreamt of pursuing higher education.
While sharing his journey, which began at KISS in 2011, by enrolling in the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program (2011-2014), followed by a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree (2014-2016). In 2019, I was admitted to the Ph.D. program in the Department of Commerce, and on 13th September 2025, I successfully defended my Ph.D. Viva-Voce in the presence of Dr. Ashish Kumar Sana, Professor, Department of Commerce, University of Calcutta, under the supervision of Dr. Parikshita Khatua, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, KISS Deemed to be University. The constant guidance, insightful feedback, and unwavering support of my supervisor, Dr. Parikshita Khatua, played a pivotal role in refining my research skills and enabling me to complete my doctoral journey successfully.
