The Wellness Centre at KISS-DU observed ORS Day on 29th July 2025. Professor Nirmal K. Mahakud, Department of Paediatrics, Professor Swarnalata Das, Department of Paediatrics and Professor Sebaranjan Biswal, HoD, Paediatrics from Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) graced the occasion as resource persons. The invited guests deliberated upon the benefits of ORS and the necessary preparedness required while dealing with an emergency situation during dehydration.
The Welcome Address was delivered by Professor Debashis Bandyopadhyay, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, KISS-DU, Dr. Disha Bhatt, Deputy Director, IQAC, KISS-DU presented a brief introduction of the Wellness Centre. Dr. Sujata Acharya, Dean, School of Tribal Heritage and Tribal Indology introduced the esteemed guests and Mrs. Debahuti Pattnaik proposed the formal Vote of Thanks.
