The Centre for Women's and Project K-Muse in collaboration with the Gender Sensitization Cell, KISS-DU organized an international webinar on "Generosity, Collaboration and Shared progress" on 8th March 2026 to mark International Women's Day. The Webinar held a dialogue between Amanda Jacks, MD and Co-Founder Woodfordia and Board Member, Creative Australia, and Professor Amareswar Galla, Pro-Chancellor and Distinguished Professor KIIT and KISS. Among others, the occasion was also graced by Professor Amitab Pandy, Director, National Museum of Humankind, Bhopal and Professor A.B Ota Professor Emeritus KISS-DU.  

 The dialogue revolved around Land, Tribes, Culture, Indigenous Festivals, Development, and the role of Women. The event was followed by question-and-answer session. Speaking earlier, Dr. Pragyan Mohanty, Dean, School of Tribal Legal Studies and Tribal Rights and Head, Centre for Women's Studies delivered the Welcome Address and Dr. Arpana Premi Lina Oraon, Dean, School of Tribal Resource Management and Director, R&D Cell proposed Word of Thanks.  

The webinar was attended by participants from India, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, alongside faculty members and research scholars representing KISS-DU as well as other universities.
