The Home Science Programme, School of Tribal Heritage and Tribal Indology, KISS-DU, organized a seminar on 12 January 2024 under the banner of Institution Innovation Council, Ministry of Education, Government of India, on the theme “Youth Leadership: Shaping Tomorrow’s World.”
Dr. Madhubrata Mishra, Assistant Professor of Home Science, introduced the resource person, Dr. Sasmita Pattnaik, Assistant Professor of Psychology, who graced the occasion as the Chief Speaker.
Dr. Sasmita Pattnaik, Assistant Professor, Psychology, said that youth leaders with skills are required for the economic, social, intellectual, political, cultural and environmental transformation of the country. She highlighted the role of youth in contributing towards the Sustainable Development Goals with special focus on SDG 4, 5, 10 and 13.
Dr. Madhubrata Mishra initiated the Q/A Session. Over fifty students attended the event.
Ms. Deepti, Faculty in Education concluded the seminar, and also proposed a vote of thanks.
