The East Zone Inter University Chess (Men) Championship 2025–26, conducted under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, was successfully organized by Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, from 2nd to 6th March 2026 held at Viswanathan Anand Chess Hall, KIIT Campus-10.
A total of 112+ participants representing 28 universities took part in the Championship. It is noteworthy that KISS Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar secured the 19th position in the championship.
The following teams have made their universities proud by participating in the All India Inter University Inter Zone Chess (Men) Championship 2025–26, held at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Mangalore, from 11th – 15th March, 2026.
