The Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Deemed to be University (KISS-DU) inked an MoU with the Indian Political Science Association (IPSA) on 24th October 2025. The purpose of this MoU is to enable cooperation between both the parties to organize national and international conference, academic support for implementing and engaging in academic exchange and research activities.

The occasion was graced by Professor Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, General Secretary and Treasurer IPSA, Ms. Ravina Tagor, Chief Office Executive, IPSA and Professor Geetanjali Dash, Vice Chancellor, Berhampur University. KISS-DU was represented by Professor Kashi Nath Jena, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Prashanta Kumar Routray, Registrar, Core Committee Members, Deans, Directors and Faculty Members from the Department of Political Science, School of Tribal Culture, Philosophy and Eco-Spiritualism, KISS-DU.

The Welcome Address was delivered by Professor Kashi Nath Jena, followed by the signing ceremony. Professor Sanjeev Kumar Sharma and Professor Geetanjali Dash shared their ideas and thoughts with the gathering. Post the formal ceremony, a discussion was convened regarding preparation of the roadmap for the upcoming 62th All India Political Science Conference and International Seminar on “We the People of Bharat” being jointly organized by the Indian Political Science Association and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Deemed to be University on 27th and 28th December 2025. This platform will witness all the life members of IPSA, educators, scholars, fellow learners and professionals of Political Science, Public Administration, Governance, Human Rights, International Relations, Law and other allied disciplines.

The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks to one and all present in the MoU Signing Ceremony.
