The members of the Institution Innovation Council 6.0, KISS-DU, attended a MIC-driven activity organized by the Institution Innovation Council, Ministry of Education, Government of India, on 29 July 2024.
While addressing the member institutions, Mr. Dipan Sahu, Assistant Director, IIC, MoE, focused on the importance and advantages of participating in IIC activities. He also shed light on the impact created by IIC on the member institutions. Mr. Sahu spoke at length about undertaking Innovation Ambassador training programmes. Further, he also stressed that participating in Innovation Ambassador training can help improve the member institutions’ Star ratings. In his presentation, he answered some of the critical responsibilities of the Innovation Ambassador, like performing the role of mentor in their respective IICs, providing support to other IICs as resource persons and spreading the message of innovation and start-up among the students and faculties. He gave a brief of the training and modules for the Innovation Ambassador.
Selvarani, who represented the MIC, delivered a presentation about the portal’s technical details and how the entire process can be done smoothly. The IIC members of KISS-DU attended the session.
