The IIC members of KISS Deemed to be University attended the MIC-driven session on “ATL—IIC Linkage Program” on July 31, 2024. Mr. Dipan Sahu, Assistant Director, IIC, MoE, in his presentation, spoke about the IIC – ATL Mentorship Linkage Program and said that AICTE, Ministry of Education, Innovation Cell, and Atal Innovation Mission have collaborated to provide mentoring support to ATLs across India based on the geographical proximity to the Institution’s Innovation Council established in Higher Education Institutions.

He added that IICs functioning in Higher Education Institutions will help nurture future innovators. They can help enhance innovation capability and the school’s facility to engage with the students and teachers in innovation and entrepreneurship activities. Mr. Sahu also spoke at length about the salient features of the ATL-IIC Mentorship Program. He urged the IIC members to participate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship activities organized in ATLs; IICs to extend support to ATLs in building YUKTI Innovation Repositories at the school level and get mentorship support.
The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks to all the attendees.
