A seminar titled “Academic Bank of Credits: A Paradigm Shift in Higher Education” was held on 09/04/25 at 11:30 a.m. at KISS Deemed to be University (KISS-DU), organized by NEP SAARTHIs. The session aimed at throwing light on the transformative concept of Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) and its potential to reshape the Indian higher education landscape.

The seminar featured Dr. Srinibas Panda, Associate Professor and Controller of Examinations at KISS-DU, as the resource person. Dr. Panda delivered an insightful presentation on the ABC framework, emphasizing its role in enhancing academic flexibility, enabling student mobility, and ensuring continuity across institutions.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from 81 students, reflecting a growing interest in innovative academic reforms. Coordinated under the able guidance of Dr. Sujata Acharya, Dean and Coordinator, NEP SAARTHI, KISS-DU and Dr. Ratnaprava Parija, Head of the Department of English, the seminar was marked by its interactive and informative nature.

The session concluded with a dynamic Q&A segment, during which students engaged actively with Dr. Panda, exploring the practical implications of the ABC system and clarifying their queries.
