Mega Plantation Utsav – KIIT & KISS hosted a massive plantation drive on 13th and 14th July, 2019, aimed at restoring some of the city’s green cover that was decimated by Cyclone Fani barely a month ago. As part of the campaign, saplings of Neem, Ashoka, Pistachio, Pomegranate and other trees were distributed among staff members to plant at a space of their choosing. Dr. Samanta’s campaign of afforestation, with the slogan “Go Green, Greater Involvement” could not have come at a more timely moment.
