The Bhima Bhoi Research Chair unveiled a book titled “Exploring Mahima Gadi and Tungis of Odisha” which was written by Professor Harischandra Sahoo, Chair Professor, Bhima Bhoi Research Chair and was published by KISS-DU. It is a pictorial description of 45 Mahima Tungis, Joronda Mahima Gadi and conatins couplets from the immoral writings of Bhima Bhoi. It was released during a national seminar on “Addressing Multidimensional Poverty and Food Insecurity among Tribal Communities in India Vision Viksit Bhatat @2047 on 9th January 2025. The unbelievable ceremony was graced by Professor Amareswar Galla, Pro Chancellor, Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, Professor A.B Ota (IAS Retd.), Professor S. Gregory (UIAF) and among others Professors Emeriti and Chair Professors of various Research Chairs instituted at KISS-DU.
