The Department of Bachelor in Vocational Studies, School of Tribal Resource Management (STRM), KISS-DU organized a student  seminar titled “From Crisis to Commerce: Business Opportunities Arising from Contemporary Global Conflicts”  on 2nd April 2026. It concluded on a highly engaging and insightful note. The session comprehensively explored various factors and emerging opportunities shaped by global conflicts, providing students with a deeper understanding of real-world economic and business dynamics. 

Students of the B.Voc programme actively participated in the discussion and contributed through thoughtful presentations, making the session both interactive and enriching. Their involvement reflected keen interest and critical thinking on contemporary global issues. 

The session was graced by the presence of the Dean of STRM, Dr. Arpana Premi Lina Oran, who addressed the students and encouraged them to think innovatively and adapt to changing global scenarios. Dr. Sanjeeta Kumari Devi (Economics) and Dr. Monalisha Mishra (Geography) also joined the session and shared valuable insights, adding academic depth to the discussion. 

Overall, the seminar proved to be a highly interactive and intellectually stimulating experience for the students of the B.Voc programme, fostering awareness, analytical skills, and a broader perspective on global business opportunities.
