Dr. Maheswar Sahu

Dr. Maheshwar Sahu is a distinguished professor in the P.G. Department of Commerce at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. With an academic career spanning decades, he holds multiple qualifications, including M.Com, M.Phil, Ph.D, LLB, and FDPM(A). His expertise lies in Marketing, Merchant Banking & Financial Services, and Entrepreneurship Development, areas in which he has made significant contributions through research, teaching, and consultancy.

Dr. Sahu has guided 24 Ph.D. scholars and 41 M.Phil students, shaping the next generation of researchers and professionals. His prolific academic output includes 66 research papers, covering diverse topics such as health insurance, MSME investment strategies, and customer relationship management in banking. His leadership extends beyond academia, having served in various administrative roles, including Ombudsperson at Utkal University, Director of Sports, and Professor & Head of the Department.
