The National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) organized a national level workshop on the status review and assessment of the implementation of NEP 2020 on 7 th December 2022. The programme was organized in presentation-cum-discussion mode. Professor Jugal Kishore Mishra, Director IQAC and Er. Atul Nag, Associate Professor, Computer Science Programme, School of Comparative Indic Studies, KISS-DU presented some of the key initiatives taken by the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Deemed to be University for implementing NEP 2020 and threw light on some of the challenges faced and strategies evolved on specific themes like: Transforming the university into a multidisciplinary institution of higher education; Multiple Entry and Exit; Academic Bank of Credit and Transfer of Credit; Four-year undergraduate course and Internationalization of higher education. Under NEP preparedness, till date KISS-DU has adopted a multidisciplinary approach towards education since its inception; internationalization of higher education; successfully implemented Outcome-based Education and registered itself in the Academic Bank of Credits.
