Prof. K. N. Jena

Prof. K. N. Jena is a distinguished academician and administrator with over three decades of experience in higher education, specializing in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Patent Studies. He earned his M.A. and Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University and has held several key leadership and academic positions across prestigious institutions in India.

He served as the Vice-Chancellor of Sparsh Himalaya University, Dehradun (Uttarakhand), and as Administrative & Academic Director at the National Forensic Science University, Tripura. At Tripura Central University, he held multiple roles including Professor & Controller of Examinations, Director, UGC Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion & Inclusive Policy, Director, Centre for Gandhian Studies, and Director, Directorate of Distance Education.

Prof. Jena has been Associate at the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla, and served on key selection, moderation, and evaluation committees of the Tripura Public Service Commission, West Bengal College Service Commission, Odisha Public Service Commission,
and the UGC Minor Research Project Committee.

A prolific scholar, he is the author of 13 reference books on globalization and global studies and has published 50+ research papers. He has presented over 300 papers at national and international conferences and served as Visiting Professor at over 30 Indian universities and
universities in Belgium, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.
