Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar is hosting the World Beach Volleyball Championship in its campus from 4th to 8th March, 2026 duly entrusted by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) with participation of players and officials from 52 countries.
The tournament will no doubt play a key role in promoting Beach Volleyball in Odisha and India as well, boosting sports tourism, branding and international visibility; and preparing Indian athletes for global competitions.
In fact, this is an Olympic qualifier event which is being held in India for the first time in a University Campus.
