The KISS Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar signed Memorandum of Understanding with Cluster University, Jammu on 7th February 2026 in strategic areas of joint research and publications, organizing conferences and faculty and student exchange programmes.
In her Welcome Address, Dr. Disha Bhatt, Deputy Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) welcomed all the esteemed guests and shared the key areas of collaborations under this MoU. Professor Kashi Nath Jena, Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor, KISS-DU delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of inking such MoUs which will pay a significant role in taking both the universities to the pinnacle of success. Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, Senior Adviser, KISS-DU shared how this MoU was materialized. He expressed the need for translating the objectives under this MoU into fruition. Dr. Radhakrishnan Nair, the President of Indian Association Life Skills Education (IALSE) shared his happiness upon this collaboration and wished this new venture best wishes in the future.
Speaking in turn, Professor K.S Chandrasekhar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu said that he is elated about this collaboration. Sharing some of the significant success stories of his University, he added that he has taken certain significant steps including appointing MoU Implementation Officer who ensures that all the terms and conditions mentioned under various MoUs are addressed and executed. Professor Chandrasekhar applauded the leadership and vision of Hon’ble Founder, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, and appreciated the lush green campuses of KIIT and KISS.
