In a historic move, the KISS Deemed to be University entered an MoU with the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka on 5th February 2026 in the key areas of joint research, publications, seminars, conferences and staff and student exchange programmes.
The occasion was graced by Professor Terrance Mudhujith, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, Senior Advisor, KISS-DU, Dr. Prashanta Kumar Routray, Registrar, KISS-DU. During the signing ceremony, Professor Mudhujith expressed his happiness upon this new venture and shared his vision of making this MoU functional. Professor Behera, talked about how both the institutions can collaborate to ensure holistic development of staff and students. Dr. Routray thanked the entire fraternity of University of Peradeniya and added that KISS-DU will be happy to host a delegation from Sri Lanka in the near future.
