Following the University level Orientation Programme, the School of Comparative Tribal Languages and Literatures (SCTLL), KISS-DU organized school-level Induction Programme starting from 12th September 2024. The Orientation Programme was attended by the Heads, faculty members and newly admitted students of various Programmes (English, Odia, Santhali, Sanskrit and Hindi) under the School of Comparative Tribal Languages and Literatures.

The Dean of the School, Dr. Chittaranjan Bhoi briefed about the School and its functioning. The daily activities included briefing about the School; introducing faculty members and their areas of specializations; Statutory Committees and their roles and responsibilities; activities conducted in the previous academic year; subjects offered by various Programmes; acclimatizing with the University website and facilities available on campus. The Heads of various Programmes also spoke on the occasion. Dr. Disha Bhatt, Assistant Professor, SCTLL and the Deputy Director, IQAC emphasized on the roles and responsibilities of Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad. She stressed on the fact that the newly admitted students should bring to notice any such incidents of ragging or bullying as KISS-DU is a ragging free campus.

Dr. Rasmita Tripathy, Associate Professor and Former Dean, SCTLL talked the rules and regulations of the hostel and Dr. Lusy Priyadarsini Nayak proposed a formal Vote of Thanks to all present.
