KISS-DU adopted the innovative concept of Professors of Practice as one of the pedagogic novelty on 30th April 2022. The veteran Professors who hail from indigenous background with little or no formal learning teach the art of indigenous medicine, dance, folksongs, languages, literatures, traditional indigenous healing, music, shawl-weaving, jewellery making, storytelling, and indigenous science and technology to the scholars hence maintaining a tribal aspect of education. The classes are conducted in the lap of nature with the objective of offering experiential learning to the indigenous students.
