The Vice Chairperson of National Commission for Scheduled Tribes(NCST), Ms. Anusiya Uikey along with some of its members and officials visited KISS today. After visiting different wings of KISS, Ms. Uikey said, “KISS is indeed unique of its kind in the world, which has become possible because of its Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta’s relentless endeavor and sheer resolution.”
While there are several problems persisting with the schools and hostels meant for the scheduled tribes all over the country, KISS has been leading by an example, where everything is being done in a streamlined manner, she added. Addressing the students, she said, “you are privileged to be part of KISS and you should pledge to gratify your dream of your life. Obviously, you have to work hard to meet your goal.”
Among the members of NCST, Shri Hari Krishna Damor, Shri Harshadbhai Chunilal Vasava, Smt. Maya Chitamn Evnate, along with the Joint Secretary of NCST Shri Sisir Kumar Ratho and Assistant Director of NCST Shri. R. K. Dubey also visited KISS.
