Prof. David R. Syiemlieh, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi visited Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences and KIIT on Thursday. Visiting all campuses of KIIT and units of KISS, Prof. Syiemlieh interacted with 25000 tribal students of KISS. In his address he said, “It has never happened before in my life and I feel shy standing before you. Everybody should visit KISS rather than visiting historical sites. Each of you being unique, each of you is a gift, your leader Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS is a great visionary. I have never seen such a person with so much simplicity and humility in my life.” Students should establish themselves in society and adopt the quality of imbibed by Dr. Samanta, he urged. Among others Mr. Niankoro Yeah Samake, Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary, Republic of Mali and Mr. Philippe Le Gall, Ambassador of the Republic of Seychelles also spoke on the occasion. Dr. Achyuta Samanta delivered welcome address while R. N. Dash, Secretary, KIIT & KISS proposed vote of thanks.
