Under the aegis of Bhima Bhoi Research Chair, KISS Deemed to be University, a special lecture Programme on The Philosophy of Bhima Bhoi & Mahima Dharma was organised on 28th February, 2020. While presiding over the function, Professor Harekrushna Satpathy, Vice-Chancellor of KISS DU delivered the welcome address. Research Chair Professor, Dr. Harischandra Sahoo introduced the guests and presented the concept note on the above theme. The students of KISS DU under the supervision of Dr. Tripura Mishra presented the prayers of Bhima Bhoi. One booklet on Bhima Bhoi and Mahima Dharma and an edited book entitled An Introduction to Practical Ethics by Professor Sahoo were released. Prof. Kalidas Mishra, Prof. Kharavella Mohanty and Prof. Sarat Chandra Panigrahi discussed the literary, historical and philosophical aspects of the works of Bhima Bhoi respectively. At the end of the function, Prof. Basanta kumar Panda extended vote of thanks to all the dignitaries, Principal and Vice-Principals including the students present in the meeting.
