The NSS Unit of KISS-DU, in collaboration with the School of Tribal Legal Studies and Tribal Rights of KISS Deemed to be University observed World Cancer Day on 4th February 2023 at the Conference Hall of KISS Higher Education Campus. The theme was “Let’s unite to make the world aware of closing the gap in cancer care”. The event was graced by Senior Functionaries of KISS-DU, Programme Officers of NSS, Deans of Schools, Ph.D. Scholars, Faculty, and NSS volunteers.
Dr.Sabyasachi Parida, Senior Consultant, Surgical Oncology from Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences(KIMS) Super Specialist Hospital, was invited as the resource person. He spoke on occasion and sensitized the students, and created awareness. Ms. Sai Smita Swain, Faculty and Programme Officer, NSS, coordinated the event.
