The NSS Unit of the School of Tribal Resource Management (STRM) KISS Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, organised a Tiranga Rally and Awareness Programme on the National Freedom Movement to promote patriotism, national unity, and awareness among students about India’s freedom struggle on 13th August 2026.
The programme was conducted by NSS Programme Officer Mr. Rudrashree Ramayan Sasmal and was graced by Dr. Jhunubala Khuntia and Dr. Hisi Soren. NSS volunteers and students participated enthusiastically in the Tiranga Rally, carrying the National Flag and spreading messages of patriotism and national responsibility.
The awareness session highlighted the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the significance of the National Freedom Movement. The distinguished guests motivated students to uphold the values of unity, patriotism, and responsible citizenship. The programme concluded successfully with a renewed commitment to the ideals of national service and the NSS motto, “Not Me But You.”
