KISS-DU records yet another significant milestone as the Bhubaneswar campus becomes the first-ever Miyawaki forest site in Odisha with the afforestation event held on July, 3rd, 2022.
Founder KISS & KIIT Dr. Achyuta Samanta sir, distinguished dignitaries including Shri Pradip Kumar Amat, Hon’ble Minister – Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Chancellor, Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune, Mr Pavan Sukhdev, UNEP Goodwill Ambassador, Founder and CEO of GIST Advisory Switzerland SA, Mr. Ricky Kej, Internationally Renowned Indian Music Composer and two-time Grammy Award Winner, Mr. Pratyush Panda, Head – CSR and Sustainability, L&T Infotech, Mr. Satya Sundar Tripathi, Chancellor, KISS-DU, and a few of our student volunteers were present at the inauguration of the afforestation process.
KISS-DU has been meeting the Sustainable Development Goal – 13, Climate Action with the objective of integrating climate change measures on campus for sustainability.
