The School of Tribal Resource Management had organized an Industrial Visit to Coca Cola Company, Khurda for P.G. Commerce students on 7th December 2024 in order to gain practical knowledge on the advanced technology used during the manufacturing, production and bottling process with the guiding faculty members, Dr. Ch. Sudipta Kishore Nanda and Dr. Binita Nanda.
The visit provided them with a comprehensive understanding of the production process, quality control measures, and operational management of a large-scale manufacturing unit. The students also gained insight into the company’s management practices, safety protocols, and commitment to quality. The students visited the production unit, where they witnessed the entire manufacturing process, from raw material procurement to finished product packaging. The objective of the industrial visit was to provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to the manufacturing process, quality control measures, and operational management of a renowned company like Coca Cola. The students gained insight into 7 lines of production including raw material storage along with base storage, syrup preparation, quality control, maintenance, safety and security.
The students participated in interactive session with the company’s officials from the Human Resources and Quality Assurance Departments where they asked questions and gained valuable insights into the company’s operations, management, and future plans. The students and faculty members express their gratitude to the management and staff of Coca Cola Company, Khurda, for their hospitality and cooperation during the visit.
